Scholastic Ability Test (SAT)

There is no defined eligibility for the exam. However, it is expected that you have high school education to be eligible for the exam. The test is open to students from all backgrounds because there is no eligibility for the exam. As a result, there is a variety of aspiring students for this exam and the competition to gain admission into a good college is getting tougher by the day.
We, at Excelencia, take a Diagnostic Test of each and every student to understand the existing aptitude and the skills. Accordingly, the student is given customised coaching in the areas where the student requires improvement. We have small batches which help the faculty to give individual attention to each and every student. SAT Introduction The SAT and SAT Subject Tests are designed to assess academic readiness for college. These exams provide a path to opportunities, financial support, and scholarships, in a way that's fair to all students. The SAT and SAT Subject Tests keep pace with what colleges are looking for today, measuring the skills required for success in the 21st century.

Exam Pattern The SAT exam is designed to assess the skills of thinking and logical reasoning of the candidates. These are the basic skills that students acquire in school, but are highly valued at the college level as well. The purpose of conducting this exam is to evaluate students for their writing, reading as well as mathematical skills.
The total duration of the exam is 3 hours and 45 minutes. The SAT exam is divided into SAT Reasoning Test and SAT subject based Test.

Paper Pattern Writing: This section has essay type question section and multiple choice type questions. The essay section has allocated the time of 25 minutes.
Critical Reading: The critical reading section is divided into three sub-sections. The questions asked in this section are based on either short passage reading or long passage reading. The questions are multiple choice based questions. These questions generally evaluate a student's writing skills. Mathematics: Mathematics section also consists of three sections. The total time allotted to this section is 70 minutes.

IELTS (International English Language Testing System)

IELTS is the world’s most popular English language test. The IELTS test assesses your abilities in all four skills – listening, reading, writing and speaking. It is a necessity for admission into universities and training programs in the UAE, UK, Australia, New Zealand and Canada. The IELTS test is scored from 0-9. IELTS conforms to the highest standards of language assessment.
Every student has to write at least 8 Mock Tests. This is in accordance with the paper pattern of the test. This helps him/her to gain confidence to face the final test and score well.

TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language)

The test is designed to measure the English proficiency of non-English speaking people. It measures English language proficiency in reading, listening, speaking and writing and is offered on computer in most regions of the world. The test is timed for each section and uses multiple-choice questions with four possible choices for each question.
With the help of number of planned and systematic Mock tests, the student understands the importance of managing the time and ensuing that he / she completes his / her test as per the schedule

Graduate Record Examination (GRE)

The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is a standardized test that is an admission requirement for most graduate schools (Masters in Science and MBA) in the United States. The exam aims to measure verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, analytical writing, and critical thinking skills that have been acquired over a long period of time and that are not related to any specific field of study. The GRE General Test is offered as a computer-based exam administered at Prometric testing centers.
In the graduate school admissions process, the level of emphasis that is placed upon GRE scores varies widely between schools and between departments within schools. The importance of a GRE score can range from being a mere admission formality to an important selection factor. Scholarships are also awarded on the basis of the GRE score. There are no specific eligibility criteria for GRE Test. Hence, the aspirants sitting for GRE test do not have to fulfill any necessary GRE eligibility criteria. Aspirants can register for the test irrespective of age and qualification. However, the candidate has to fulfill the admission criteria for individual institutes where he/she is applying. Once the candidate has registered for the test he/she is free to choose any available GRE Test Dates.

Quality graduate business programs rely on the GMAT to make admissions decisions, so if you’re serious about business school, then the GMAT is your best first step. Accepted by more than 6,000 business and management programs worldwide, for nearly 60 years, the GMAT exam has been the test of choice by the world’s business leaders to get into the world’s leading business schools for one reason – it works.
The GMAT exam – created by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC), the global non-profit council of business schools – sets the standard for its ability to predict success in the classroom. The GMAT exam measures the skills you have and the skills schools need. The importance of a GMAT score can range from being a mere admission formality to an important selection factor.
